WESTERVILLE — Rebecca M. Bunker, 89, formerly of Sunbury, died Feb. 16, 2010, at Edgewood Manor in Westerville.
She was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Ellet, Ohio, to the late Herman and Lena A. (Rupp) Clapsadle. A career women, she worked as a secretary with the Delaware Farm Bureau before retiring.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline A. (James) Carpenter of Columbus; foster-daughter, Michelle (David) Baum of Westerville, three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Lester Clapsadle of Fort Myers, Fla., Roger Clapsadle of Allison Park, Pa.; sister, Helen Kovacks of Akron.
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Erwin W. Bunker, on June 10, 2000; daughter, Cheri Harris, in 1972.
Graveside service was held in Stantontown Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Sunbury.
