CENTERBURG — William F. Wisker, 85, of Centerburg passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at the Knox Community Hospital.

He was born Dec. 17, 1924, in Columbus to the late William and Eleanor (Cummins) Wisker. William was employed at Trans World Airlines (T.W.A.) from which he retired as the Parts Manager. He was a member of the Divinity Lutheran Church in Gahanna and also was a member of the Gahanna Lions Club. William enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of over 63 years, Thelma F. (DeVore) Wisker; two daughters, Ann (Tom Sr.) Ruffner of Centerburg, Nora Lee (Greg Sr.) Patterson of Oxford, Ala.; three grandchildren, Gregory, Michael and Matthew Patterson; a great-grandson, Emmanuel Patterson; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister, Vera Spring.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private service at a later date. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of William F. Wisker.
