MOUNT VERNON — Lloyd R. Harry Sr., 55, of Mount Vernon passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 21, 2010, at his home.
He was born on June 15, 1954, in Meadow Bridge, W.Va., a son of Pauline (Ballenger) Harry of Meadow Bridge, W.Va., and the late Paul Harry. Lloyd was an electrician and was the owner and operator of Service-Tech. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church and the Grace Fellowship in Mount Vernon.
In addition to his mother, Pauline, Lloyd is survived by his wife, Charlene R. (Adams) Harry, whom he married on Aug. 28, 1975; children, LaShawn (Tony) Small and LJ (Andrea) Harry, both of Mount Vernon; granddaughters, Desirae, Sienna, Makenna and Raylee; and a brother, Dean Harry of Meadow Bridge, W.Va.
The family will receive friends at the Apostolic Christian Church, 1635 Old Delaware Road, Mount Vernon, on Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 5:30 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 7:30 p.m., with Pastors Duane Kramer and Jerry Moore officiating. A private burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
