LORAIN — Constance J. “Connie” Hunter passed away Feb. 10, 2010, at Community Health Partners Medical Center in Lorain following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hunter was born in Knox County on Jan. 2, 1940, to the late Clinton E. and Rachel (Daugherty) Parker. She was a member of the Bethel Chapel in Lorain. She wrote poetry; taught Sunday school, both primary and adult levels; loved to read; and enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly J. Carter, Jamey M. Worthen, grandchildren, Misty (Mike) Selmon, Rachel Wagner and Tevin Wagner, great-grandson, Keshawn Selmon, all of Lorain; sister, Esta Lee Strauser of Mount Vernon; brother, Roger Parker of Lorain; and nieces, nephews, an aunt and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Hunter, in 1973; sisters, Louise Baker, Marjorie Riel; and brothers, Richard Parker and Ronald Parker.
The funeral was Feb. 19 with Pastor Lori Bandagski officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
