MILLBURY — Erma L. Duty, 81, of Millbury died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in the Genoa Retirement Village, Genoa.

Erma was born in Richland County on Sept. 11, 1928, to Clifford B. and Dorthea (Schroder) Leonard. She later moved with her family to Knox County. She married Melvin R. Duty in Bellville on Feb. 14, 1954, and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2004. Erma was a homemaker, and enjoyed reading and baking.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Alberna (James) A. Taylor of Curtice; nieces, Rita Gaddis, Sharon Tobasko, Gayle Barnhart; and nephew, Doug Leonard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Wanda; and brother, Clifford.

A funeral service for Erma will be conducted Sunday, March 7, at 2 p.m. in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West St., Genoa, OH. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday from noon until the time of service. Interment will take place in the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa.
