COSHOCTON — William E. Davis, 85, of Coshocton passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for Shaw Barton for 40 years. He belonged to the Elks, Moose, AMVETS and the VFW. Bill enjoyed restoring antique cars, camping and spending time with his family. He was a warm, caring, funny, and loving person who will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Davis; sons, Mike Davis and Susie Johnson and Mark (Jen) Davis; stepson, Jason Kobel; one granddaughter, Emily; four stepgrandchildren, Kayla Kobel, Cayla Gray, Damon Gray and Travis Billings; several great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Kay Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Geraldine Davis; son, William E. Davis Jr.; and brother, Ray (Irene) Davis.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 10, at 1 p.m. at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, Coshocton. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens, where the Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 9, from 5 to 8 p.m.
