CENTERBURG — Lewis C. “Louie” Davis Sr., 77, of Centerburg died suddenly Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital.

He was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Columbus to the late George and Goldie (Johnson) Davis.

He is survived by children, Lewis “Corky” (Susan) Davis Jr., Jacque (Clint) Johnson, Lynn (Steve) Ross; two grandchildren; brother, Paul Davis; sisters, Deloris Thompson, Jerry Sullivan, Eileen Blevins; and sister-in-law, Cathy Davis.

Preceded in death by his wife, Lora (Lilse); and brothers, David, George, Tom, Leroy and Bill.

Friends may call Saturday from 3-5 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where services will follow Saturday at 5 p.m. Pastor Dan Brown will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park on Monday morning.
