MOUNT VERNON, Ky. — Betty Leone (Miller) Kerr Wetzel, 91, of Mount Vernon, Ky., and formerly of Norwalk, Ohio, died peacefully at home, March 19, 2010.
She was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, on Nov. 5, 1918, to Clement and Grace Miller. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Margie) Kerr of Mount Vernon, Ky., and Paul (Beth) Kerr of Utica, Ohio; two daughters, Marty (Luis) Miranda of Mount Vernon, Ky., and Debbie (Tim) Wozniak of Sandusky, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Rita Kerr of Ashland, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Yvonne (Richard) Evans, Leah (Jeff) Wright, Nathan (Kim) Kerr, Matthew (Amber) Kerr, Angie (Jason) Watts, Stephen (Shayna) Wozniak, Jesse (Becky) Wozniak, Jared Miranda, Hannah and Samuel Kerr; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gordon L. Kerr; her second husband, Ray Wetzel; one son, Dennis W. Kerr; and one brother, Ralph Miller.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 24, at 1:30 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 27, at 7 p.m. at the Mount Vernon, Ohio, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 14 Taylor Road (just west of Ohio 3), with Steve Andrews officiating.
