MOUNT VERNON — Jaan J. Lepley, 67, of Mount Vernon passed away Wednesday morning, March 24, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon.

He was born Oct. 29, 1942, in Mount Vernon, a son of the late Paul M. and Marjorie M. (White) Lepley. Jaan was a member of the South Vernon United Methodist Church.

Jaan is survived by his brother, Paul L. Lepley of Mount Vernon; a niece, Amy (Tom) Auker of Mount Vernon; a nephew, Paul W. Lepley of Chillicothe; and a great-niece, Adrienne (Jeff) Harris of Columbus.

A graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Pastor Robert Alexander will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parents, Friends, and Volunteers Association, c/o Mount Vernon Developmental Center, 1250 Vernonview Drive, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
