WARSAW — Bill H. Kennedy, 83, of Warsaw passed away suddenly Monday, April 5, 2010, at home.
Formerly of Centerburg, he retired from Marion Power Shovel. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and lifetime member of the Centerburg Conservation Club.
He was preceded in death by parents, Eram and Bertha (Hagerman) Kennedy; brother, Earnest; and sisters, Ethel Davis and Zada Blake.
He is survived by sons, Eram (Beverly) of Hebron and Giles (Angel) of Warsaw; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Emma Thomen of Centerburg, Georgia Kroniger of Mount Vernon and Sue Kennedy of Denver, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg. Graveside service and burial will be held Saturday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg, with the Rev. J.R. Smith officiating.
