MARTINSBURG — Albert C. Bellaver, 83, of Martinsburg died Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Albert was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Victor and Olga (Delbosco) Bellaver and moved to Knox County in 1982. Albert was a Navy veteran of World War II and had been employed as a truck driver for Mike Dolan “Driftwood Dairy” of El Monte, Calif.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Kathryn (Bumpus) Bellaver, whom he married April 8, 1974; his sons, David Bellaver and Daniel Bellaver, both of California; his daughters, Vicki (Steve) Thomas of California and Judy (Cliff) Asay of Arizona; stepson, Buddy (Debbie) Fickes of Butler; stepdaughters Susan Yates of Bellville and Colleen Morris of Apple Valley; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Kenneth Bellaver of California and Johnny Bellaver of Hawaii.

Besides his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Townsend.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 10, at 4 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.
