CENTER VILLAGE — Elogene Shepherd Blain, 88, of Center Village died May 3, 2010.

Born Feb. 9, 1922, in Licking County to the late Arthur and Eva (Simpson) Shepherd.

Survived by children, Paul Blain, Janet Pierson, Beth Warner, Rodney Blain, Cheryl Blain, Martin Blain; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Annabelle Shepherd, Bill Shephard, June Shephard, Lottie Landaker, Jack Shepherd.

Preceded in death by husband, Henry “Buck” Blain; infant son, Danny; great-granddaughter, Caelin Smith; three sisters; and two infant brothers.

Friends may call Thursday 5 to 7 p.m., DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where services will be Friday 2 p.m., with the Rev. Mary E. Sandberg officiating. Interment in Fancher Cemetery.
