MARTINSBURG — Norma Betty Lambert, 80, of Martinsburg died May 3, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Creola, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Reed) Woodgeard. Norma had worked for the Mount Vernon Developmental Center for 10 years as a TPW.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth E. (Patty) Lambert of Columbus; her daughter, Vickie (Phillip) Ocker of Martinsburg; grandchildren, Annette, Kenneth II, Michael, Kenny Robert and Sabrina; great-grandchildren, Mick, Daniel, Kenneth III, Marcus, Hallie and Lily; great-great-granddaughter, Morgan; four brothers and three sisters.

Norman was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Lambert; a son, Ricky W. Lambert; four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Bladensburg. Graveside funeral service will be Friday, May 7, at 11 a.m. in Martinsburg Methodist Cemetery with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Norma’s name to Hospice of Knox County, 17700 Coshocton Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
