SARASOTA, Fla. — Priscilla C. “Pat” (Thompson) Burgstahler, 98, Sarasota, Fla., died May 2, 2010.
She was born in Brinkhaven, Ohio, to Lyman Elmer Church and Anna Bell Connor; with sisters, Evelyn, Luella and Elizabeth. She completed high school in Brinkhaven and worked for many years in the Mount Vernon area until moving to Venice, Fla., in the early 1970s. Her considerable creative energies found expression in decorating, sewing, quilting, painting and baking. She was an avid reader, Scrabble player and keeper of family history.
She was preceded in death by son, Denney Thompson; and husbands, Robert D. Thompson and Edgar Burgstahler.
Survivors include, daughter-in-law, Marty Thompson; grandchildren, Laura Eisenman (Erik), Andy Thompson (Kirsten), Tracy Thompson (Kim); five great-grandchildren; and extended family in Ohio and beyond. Services at a later date.
