SPARTA — Patrick L. “Pat” Belcher, 70, of Sparta died May
12, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 31, 1939, in Fulton to the late Clarence “Ikey” and
Edith (Burson) Belcher. He was a U.S. Army veteran; a retired laborer for North
Electric and most recently for Bry-Air in Sunbury, retiring in 2004.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Lillie (Conley) Belcher; sons, Kevin (Peggy),
Philip (Rhonda), both of Cardington, Christopher of Sparta; daughters, Edith
(Bill) Zornes of Chesterville, Mae Bethany Belcher of Sparta; 13 grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette (Howard) Saunders of Marengo, Deloris
(John) White of Marion, Kay (Richard) Nichols of Centerburg.
Preceded in death by brother, James Belcher.
Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m., at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Marengo,
where service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield
Cemetery.
