APPLE CREEK — Frankie C. Hinton, 73, of Apple Creek died peacefully
Thursday, May 13, 2010, with family by her side, at the home of her daughter,
Carla.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood
Chapel, with the Rev. Jacqueline McMillen officiating; friends may call one hour
prior. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens following the service. Online

Frankie was born March 27, 1937, in Coal Run, Ohio, to Walter Everette and Violet
Nora (Biehl) Dobbins. She graduated from Fort Frye High School in Beverly, Ohio.
Frankie worked for Glendora Nursing Home for over 20 years. She also worked for
Apple Creek Market for over 10 years. Frankie loved spending time with her family.
She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. Frankie was a member of St.
Peter’s United Church of the Christ in Apple Creek. She was a Cadet Girl
Scout Leader. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavs and the Cleveland Indians.
She will be deeply missed by her best friend and everlasting soul mate, Richard
Ware; children, Celia (Dale) Orr, Cheryl Britton and Carla (David) Hershberger,
all of Apple Creek, Tammy (Mike) Bowers of Mount Vernon, Tim Ware of Florida;
grandchildren, Carrie Merckle and Tim Gish, Christopher Orr, Cory Orr, Amy Kaser,
Walter Webb and Jody Hughes, Megan (Marc) Stebelton, Natasha (Nick) Bender, Matthew
Hershberger, Jeffery Williams, Garrett and Jacob Bowers, Stephanie (Darren) Huess
and James Oswalt; great-grandchildren, Owen and Kole Gish, Riley Madison Stebelton
and Riley Jolliff; sisters, Angenora, Joan, Judy and Barbara; brother, Ralph;
and her lifelong friend, Pat Merckle.
