ASHLAND — Glorene S. Hindman, 66, formerly of rural Perrysville, died Saturday morning, May 22, 2010, in Kingston of Ashland after an extended illness.

Glorene was born Oct. 11, 1943, in Mansfield, the daughter of the late Clifford and Glorene (Lee) Hindman. She was a 1963 graduate of Loudonville High School and resident of the area most of her life before moving to Heartland Home in 1998 and later moving to Kingston in 2007. She had been a former employee of The Flxible Co. and The Gorman-Rupp Co. Glorene loved visiting, being around people and shopping.

She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Roger Stevens of Butler, and Susie and Gary Carpenter of Howard; and her four nieces and nephews, Mark (Melissa) Stevens, Sherri (Giovanni) Greco, Eric (Nicole) Carpenter and Jason (Amber) Carpenter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her twin sister, Irene Hindman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 25, at 2:30 p.m. in Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville. Burial will be in Sandridge Cemetery, southern Ashland County. Friends may call Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
