FREDERICKTOWN — Pamela S. Wilkinson, 60, of Pinkley Road, Fredericktown, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 20, 1950, in Mount Vernon to the late Ameen and Helen (Jones) Ritchey. Pam operated the family store, Ritchey’s Cardinal Market in Fredericktown and also worked at Barrister Title in Mansfield. She served as fiscal officer for Wayne Township, belonged to the Tots for Teens Mother’s Club in Fredericktown, was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and helped her husband with the Fredericktown Athletic Boosters for many years. Although she served her community in many ways, spending quality time with her husband, children and grandchildren were of most importance to Pam.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Grover “Skip” Wilkinson; a son, Todd (Melissa) Wilkinson of Columbus; two daughters, Tara (Jason) Gilmore of Mount Vernon and Tory (Allen) Cagnon of Mount Vernon; three granddaughters, Kayla Gilmore, Sydney Cagnon and Riley Cagnon; two brothers, John Ritchey of Lakewood and Robert (Barbara) Ritchey of Hudson; and two sisters, Sharon (Gary) Streby of Dayton and Judith (John) Novak of Fredericktown.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, 33 E. College St., Fredericktown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
