SUNBURY — James E. Zinser, 70, of Sunbury, and formerly of Westerville, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at his residence following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

He was born May 2, 1940, in Waukesha, Wis., to the late Joseph and Madeline (Ormund) Zinser. A graduate of North High School, he retired from Anheuser Busch and was a member of the Karl Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judy (Lybarger) Zinser; sons, Troy (Carol) and Trent, both of Florida, and Chad (Jeri) Zinser of Reynoldsburg; daughter, Gina (Mike) Colegrove of Sunbury; several grandchildren; brother, Tom (Judy); and sister, Mary (Dave) Norris.

Preceded in death by brothers, William and Richard.

Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, and one hour prior to the 2 p.m. service Saturday.
