She was born on July 27, 1931, to the late Paul and Myrtle Wilson and married to Carl A. Schmidt, who preceded her in death on April 9, 2006. Jo retired from the former Sprint-United Telephone after 37 years of dedicated service. A graveside memorial will be held Sunday, June 13, at 2 p.m. at the Mansfield Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Cancer Society.
