FRAZEYSBURG — Darrel D. “Pat” Hagans, 59, of Jug Run Road, Frazeysburg, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
He was born April 21, 1951, in Coshocton to the late Jack and Alice (Kohl) Hagans. Pat was a longtime employee of United Refrigeration in Columbus.
Pat is survived by his wife, Linda (McDowell) Hagans, to whom he would have been married to for 37 years this coming October; a son, Travis Hagans of Thornville; three daughters, Stacy Hagans (Michelle Shemenske) of Grove City, Tracy Hanna Hagans (Donnie Blanton) of Bladensburg and Franny (Paul) Shreiner of Anchorage, Alaska; the love of his life, his grandchildren, Trenton Hagans, Torey Hagans, Taylor Hanna, Kayla Hagans, Areil Hagans, Tyler Hagans, Nick Sheminske and Lily Jeffers; stepgrandchildren, Harley Hanna, Jay Hanna, Trevor Hanna, Tyler Hanna and LeAndra DeJesus; brothers and sisters, Richard (Rhonda) Hagans of Cambridge, Dana (Sandy) McDowell of Bladensburg, Ruskie McDowell of Mount Vernon, Carol Sue Carol of Coshocton and Truskie (Ryan) Rager of Walhonding; many nieces and nephews; and a ton of close friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Densil and James Hagans; two sisters, Donna Shaw and Leota Brickles; and mother and father-in-law, Ottis and Torlene McDowell.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bladensburg Church of Christ, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery near Bladensburg. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Bladensburg is handling the funeral arrangements for the Pat Hagans family.
