LOUDONVILLE — Florence E. Fudge, 82, of Loudonville died early Monday morning, June 7, 2010, in Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville.
Florence was born Feb. 7, 1928, in Wilkes Barre, Pa., the daughter of the late Louis and Margaret (Abrahamson) Lipfert. She had lived in Loudonville since 1968, moving from Grafton. Florence was a secretary at The Flxible Co. for over 15 years before her retirement. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Loudonville, and was a former choir member and helped serve funeral dinners at the church. Florence loved reading, gardening, playing her organ at home, and getting a great bargain anywhere. On Aug. 22, 1948, she married Charles Fudge and he died July 9, 2000.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sandy Fudge of King George, Va.; her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Tim Hall of Loudonville; six grandchildren, Carey Fudge, Brett (Craig) Searles, David (Jessica) Hall, Charles P. Fudge, Adam Hall and Michael Hall; and one great-grandson, Alex Hall.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Weimer, on July 7, 2009; a brother, Jack Lipfert; and a sister, Nancy Kansavich.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 11, at 11 a.m. in Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
