COSHOCTON — Donna Joan Hedrick, 83, of Coshocton died Wednesday morning, June 23, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Hedrick was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Warsaw, the daughter of the late Perry and Alta (Mencer) Darr. On March 31, 1961, she married Hugh Hedrick of Coshocton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Wendell (Linda) Hedrick; and three daughters, Linda (Don) Qualls of Mount Vernon, Joyce (Rusty) Rine of Bladensburg and Becky Lawrence of Coshocton; grandchildren, Pam (Ken) Chambers, Scott Qualls, Chad (Stephanie) Rine, Carrie (Bryon) Hampshire, Bob (Crystal) Qualls, Amy (Dempsey) Shumate, Matthew Hedrick and Michael Hedrick; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Margaret) Darr of Coshocton; sister, Paula (Leland) Cooper of Coshocton; sister-in-law, Joan Darr; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Clarence Darr, Eugene Darr, Florence Funk, Sarah McCombs and Roland Darr. An avid crocheter and baker, Donna loved to share her creations with her family and friends.
The family will hold a memorial service for Mrs. Hedrick on Tuesday, June 29, at 6 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 8764 Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Coshocton County Inc., 230 S. Fourth St., Coshocton, OH 43812, in Donna's memory.
