BUTLER, Pa. — Tracie A. Jones, 62, of Penn Drive in Butler died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

She was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Anita Samson Maffei and the late Merle Maffei. Tracie was a 1965 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Mount Vernon. She then earned her bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Youngstown State University in 1970. She worked as a health instructor at Butler County Community College for 22 years. She also taught at Butler Catholic (St. Paul) School.

Her husband of 41 years, David Jones, whom she married June 21, 1969, survives her. Also surviving is her daughter, Stacee Jones, of Denville, N.J.

Friends and family will gather Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., in Butler, Pa. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, July 2, at 10 a.m. from Holy Sepulcher R.C. Church in Glade Mills.
