FREDERICKTOWN — Victor C. Miller Jr., 61, of Fredericktown died Friday evening, July 9, 2010, in Cleveland after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 14, 1948, in Cleveland, son of the late Charles C. and Betty (Kramer) Miller Sr. Victor was an accounting analyst for the Department of Defense and served as a first lieutenant in the Ohio Army National Guard. He enjoyed computers, karate, eating pizza, working on cars, and was a firearms enthusiast. Victor valued American liberties, especially freedom. He was affectionately known as “Mr. Fix It.”
Victor is survived by his wife, Jann (Myers) Miller; his children, January, Rueben, Peter (Manny), Jonathan (Annie) and Allegra; grandchildren, Devon, Cydnei, Jeris, Kayley and Victor; a sister, Leslie Mapes; canine companion, Max; and his feline companion, Elvis.
In addition to his parents, Victor was preceded in death by a son, Victor C. Miller III.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 E. College St., Fredericktown, where funeral service will be held Thursday, July 15, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown. After the committal service at the cemetery, the family is having a get-together at the American Legion, 81 Mount Vernon Ave., Fredericktown, where Victor’s favorite food will be served, Pizza!
