BELLVILLE — Ruth Ellen Snavely, 85, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.

She was born Feb. 27, 1925, in Bellville to Glenn and Doris (Saul) Freeman. She and her husband, Gerald R. Snavely, owned and operated Snavely Quality Eggs.

Survived by son, Howard (Bonnie) Snavely; daughter, Gail (Mike) Hreha; two grandchildren; great-grandson; sister, Dorothy Spencer; brother, Mark (Linda) Freeman; sisters-in-law, Lena Freeman and Judy Freeman; brother-in-law, Russell Miller.

Preceded in death by her husband; an infant son; brothers, John Freeman and Truman Freeman; and a sister, Helen Miller.

Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. Pastor Dan Noe will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
