LOUDONVILLE — Daniel L. Frank, 68, of Loudonville, died Saturday afternoon, July 24, 2010, in Brecksville VA Medical Center, Brecksville, following an extended illness.
Mr. Frank was born Aug. 29, 1941, in Mansfield, and was the son of the late Harold and Madelyn (Shaull) Frank. He lived in Loudonville all of his life and attended Loudonville High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a truck driver for many years, working with his own truck and for Beachler Trucking Co. He was a member of Loudon Post 257 American Legion and Loudonville Eagles. Daniel enjoyed rebuilding antique farm tractors.
He is survived by two sisters, Saundra Smith of Pueblo West, Colo., and Suellen Bennett of Danville; two uncles, Eugene Frank of Mansfield and Richard Frank of Loudonville; his aunt, Norma Mowers Zody of Loudonville; nieces and nephews, including his special great-nephews, Derrick and Brandon Chapman of Loudonville.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 29, at 11:15 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville, with the Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion. Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville.
