FREDERICKTOWN — Phillip David Ellcessor, 72, of Shultz Road, Fredericktown, passed away Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital.

He was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Washington Courthouse to the late John and Sylvia (Mahone) Ellcessor. Phillip was a mechanic and later a pilot for the Nationwide Insurance Co. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.

He is survived by two sons, David (Julie) Ellcessor of Reynoldsburg and James Daniel (Lisa) Ellcessor of Wake Forest, N.C.; three daughters, Cheryl (Victor) Potter of Middletown, Diencha (Dave) Marsh of Westerville and Ericka (Brad) Cady of Westerville; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Jim Ellcessor of Fredericktown; and a sister, Rita Ellcessor of Fredericktown.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private service at a later date. The Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Phillip David Ellcessor.
