GROVEPORT — Barbara J. Crowley, 67, of Groveport passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Mount Carmel East Hospital.

She was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Mount Vernon to the late William H. and Marjorie L. (Kinnard) Crowley. Barb was a 1960 graduate of Wooster High School, in 1964 from St. Mary of the Springs with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education, and in 1989 from the University of Notre Dame with a Master of Science in Administration. Barb taught at St. Mathias in Columbus for one year and Ohio Avenue School for three years before going to St. Mary Lancaster Schools and teaching there for 30 years.

Barb is survived by her sister, Carol Sue Crowley; many cousins and friends.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, with the Revs. Tony Lonzo and Donald Franks and Monsignor William Dunn as Celebrants.

Cremation to follow. Burial will be held at a later date at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, Aug. 17 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Sheridan Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Education Association Tuition Fund.
