MOUNT VERNON — James E. Muston, 71, of Mount Vernon passed away Saturday afternoon, Aug. 14, 2010, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon.

He was born June 12, 1939, in Utica, son of the late Walter R. and Bessie L. (Earlywine) Muston. James was the former owner/operator of J & B Heating and Cooling Co. in Mount Vernon; and before his health declined, he was working for his son, Dennis at Truck Pro. He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music. James loved to spend time with his family.

James is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly A. (Donahey) Muston, whom he married Feb. 9, 1958; his children, Dennis (Barb) Muston of Howard, Deanna (Tim) LaFevre of Howard and Dave (Bonnie) Muston of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Vivian) Muston of Utica and Gerald (Deb) Muston of Arizona; and a sister, Dora Cline of Utica.

The family will have a private family service at a later date.
