UTICA — A graveside service for Max Dodson, 92, of Utica will be Friday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m. in Homer Cemetery, with the Rev. Timothy Flanagan officiating. Max died Aug. 18, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon.
He was born Nov. 25, 1917, in Virginia. Max was a graduate of West Virginia University and a World War II Navy veteran. He loved farming in his retirement years. He was involved in his children’s activities, FFA, T-ball and was a 4-H advisor. His grandchildren were the love of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rose M. (Camacci) Dodson and daughter, Rebecca D. Dodson, both of Utica; son, Anthony Max Dodson of Waynesburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jonathan and Benjamin; and mother-in-law, Rachel Camacci of Waynesburg, Pa.
