SUNBURY — Hannah M. Dial, 82, of Sunbury, formerly of Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Kobacker House, Columbus.

She was born July 5, 1928, in Croton to John and Mary (Saunders) Spangler.

Surviving are daughter, Lois Dial; son, John (Joy) Dial; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; brother, Doyle (Harva Lee) Spangler; sister, Betty (Robert) Mead; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles W. Dial; brothers, Perry, Lester and Charles Spangler; and sister, Edna Davis.

Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., OES services at 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Sunbury United Methodist Church, 100 W. Cherry St., Sunbury, with the Revs. Brian Smith and Don Wagstaff officiating. Burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.
