BUTLER — Kassandra Leann Weirich, 6, of Keller Road, Butler, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, after a brief illness.

She was born Sept. 30, 2003, in Springfield, Mo., to Michael and Rachel (Gingerich) Weirich. Kassandra’s family moved to Ohio in 2005. Her parents are members of the Living Hope Conservative Mennonite Church near Ankenytown, where she enjoyed Sunday School. She was looking forward to starting first grade with her friends, but God saw fit to call her home to himself instead. We rest in God’s sovereignty in this sudden death.

In addition to her parents, Kassandra is survived by a twin sister, Klarissa; a younger sister, Lakisha; and a brother, Zachary.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, Philip Weirich; and an aunt, Crystal Weirich.

Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. or Saturday, Aug. 28, from 2 to 4 or 6 to 8 p.m. at the Living Hope Mennonite Church, 12683 Yankee St., just west of Ankenytown. A funeral will begin Sunday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m. at the church with Bennie Hostetler and Levi A. Miller officiating.

The Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Kassandra Leann Weirich.
