NAPLES, Fla. — Paul E. Knouff, 86, passed away peacefully Aug. 14, 2010, in Naples, Fla.
He was born March 24, 1924, in Morrow County, Ohio, to Newell and Olive (Porter) Knouff. He spent many years practicing as a Certified Public Accountant in Upper Arlington, Ohio, and then retired permanently to Naples in 1996. Paul loved to play golf with his wife, family and friends as a member of Worthington Hills Country Club (Ohio), Mountain Air Golf Club (North Carolina), and the Country Club of Naples. Paul also loved his OSU Buckeyes. He worshipped at Trinity Lutheran Church (Ohio) and Christus Victor Lutheran Church (Florida).
Predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Doris (Young) Knouff; and their daughter, Karen (Knouff) Keim.
Beloved “Papa” to three grandchildren, Katherine Kirkpatrick (John) of Decatur, Ga., Julie Pisarri (Peter) of Naples, Fla., and Robert Keim of San Diego, Calif.; as well as three great-grandchildren, Joshua Pisarri, Michael and Allison Kirkpatrick. Also survived by three brothers, Gerald Knouff of Columbus, Ohio, Donald Knouff (Marjorie) of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Robert Knouff of Spokane, Wash.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to The Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, at VitasCharityFund.org, or to The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation at PDF.org. A private family memorial service will be held in Naples, Fla.
