CROTON — Jerry Tennant, 59, of Croton passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
Jerry was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Waynesburg, Pa., to the late Robert and Lavern (Purcell) Tennant. He was employed by Webbs Marathon, Centerburg; Posty’s Drive Thru, Johnstown; and Pacemakers Dragway, Mount Vernon. He was a member of AA for the past 26 years, and a member of the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diana; son, Cody (Karmen) Tennant; two granddaughters, Alysa Raine Tennant and Ashlyn Rose Tennant, both of Croton; sister, Glenda (Leonard) Ramsey of Lakeville; two brothers, Robert L. (Chris) Tennant of West Salem and James (Becky) Tennant of Centerburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. An online memorial will be located at www.cksammons.com.
