MOUNT VERNON — Wilma Zolman, 84, of Mount Vernon died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the Whispering Hills Care Center.

She was born June 6, 1926, in Mount Vernon, daughter of the late Ray and Betty (Stull) Bechtel. Wilma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fredericktown and part owner/operator of the former Zolman’s Market.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Debbi Zolman of Mount Vernon; and her extended family, Heather Freudenberger, Nancy Smith, Chris Brooks and Mandy Craze; grandchildren; and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. “Gene” Zolman; a son, Terry Zolman; and a brother, Robert Bechtel.

A private graveside service will be conducted in Forest Cemetery.
