UTICA — A graveside service for Carolyn J. Earley, 73, of Utica will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Ken Kelley officiating.

Carolyn died Sept. 12, 2010, after a battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 13, 1936, in Walhonding to the late Karl and Mary (Kent) Wheeler.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald “Pete” Earley; son, Rod Earley (friend Jen Stuck); granddaughter, Samantha; grandson, Jacob; sister, Marilyn J. (Bob) Beck; nephew, Robert K. (Linda) Beck; nieces, Rachel L. Beck and Jenny Beck.

She worked for the Knox County ASCS office for 37 years. She appreciated all the cards, visits and food brought in by all the friends, neighbors and relatives, during her illness. Also to Dr. Richard Ogle, Dr. Huasir Resheed, Christopher Hedrick and all the nurses for their care and concern given her.

Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica, is assisting the Earley family with arrangements. Visit to extend condolences to the family.
