MOUNT VERNON — Beulah Thompson, 90, of Mount Vernon passed away Sept. 17, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born July 1, 1920, in Mount Vernon to Ray and Gertrude Harris. Beulah attended the Newark Road Church of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter, Rosemary Calkins of Mount Vernon; four sons, Earl (Sandy) Thompson of Danville, Richard Thompson of Walhonding, Eugene (Barbara) Thompson and Willard (Wilma) Thompson, both of Mount Vernon; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde J. Thompson; daughter, Sandra Thompson; four brothers and two sisters.

There will be no calling hours. Burial in Bladensburg Cemetery will be at a later date. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Beulah Thompson family.
