MOUNT VERNON — Donald “Don” C. Reagh II, 60, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital.

He was born Oct. 20, 1949, to the late Don and Mary (Walter) Reagh. Don spent most of his career in the restaurant business and retired within the last two years to enjoy life and play golf, which is exactly what he did. He was a longtime member of the Elks Club and valued the friendships of his numerous lodge brothers. He loved to laugh and loved life. Don was a proud dad, grandpa, big brother and friend to many. He read avidly and was an aficionado of all things “Buckeye.”

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jared (Keli) Reagh and grandson, Aidan, of Waldo; his sister, Rhonda Reagh and her husband, Jerry Bollmer, of Huber Heights; and his very special friends, John and Carol Sue Owens. He leaves behind two maternal uncles and their wives, and numerous cousins and friends.

In accordance with Don’s personal wishes, there will be no viewing or memorial service. If anyone desires to do anything in his memory, he would want you to have a lovely meal with people you love, play a round of golf and spend time with friends at the “19th Hole,” watch a Buckeyes football game singing “Carmen Ohio” loudly and off key, and live life to the fullest every day as he did. He will be greatly missed.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society.

The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Donald “Don” C. Reagh II.
