BELLVILLE — Carroll Hiawatha “Hoppy” Pugh, 83, died Sept. 26, 2010, in MedCentral at Mansfield.
He was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Princeton, Ky., to Barber and Ruby Lee (Byrd) Pugh. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Mansfield Screw Machine.
Survived by wife, Lorraine (Prosser) Campbell Pugh; children, Rick Pugh, Ronald Pugh, Sharon Mulvaney, Sondra Pugh, Sharlene Williams; stepchildren, Sharon Garrett, Susan Thompson, Gary Campbell, Daniel Campbell; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Christina Schenk, Elaine Hertzler, Larry Pugh, Rita Skulski; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by first wife, Maxine Yvonne (Bigler) Pugh; and a grandson.
