DANVILLE — Ronald Duane Sidle, 64, of 106 E. Walnut St., Danville, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 5, 1946, in Wooster to the late Paul and Faye (Fraelich) Sidle. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1970. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a classic car enthusiast, and a lover of animals, especially his dog, Chubbs.
He is survived by a son, Chris Sidle of Howard; a daughter, Kelly Sidle of Mount Vernon; two sisters, Maxine (Cal) Fravel of Wooster and Marilyn Wachtel of Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother, Richard (Doris) Sidle of Orrville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mona Mae Harrod.
A graveside service with military rites will be held Thursday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. in the Shreve Cemetery, with Pastor Patrick Bailey officiating. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
