FREDERICKTOWN — Viola Winkelman “Winkie” King, 98, of West Mound Street, Fredericktown, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Feb. 9, 1912, in Sandusky to the late John and Dora (Smith) Pebworth.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy McLain of Fort Wayne, Ind.; grandchildren, Mike (Sally) Falatach, Dennis (Shirley) Falatach, Bob (Eileen) Falatach, Sally (Hilton) Sparks, Kathy Trigg and Jane Fitch; and good friend, Susie Huggins.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred B. Winkelman; and second husband, Robert King. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Shoemaker; grandson, Mike Trigg; a great-grandson; brother, Arthur Pebworth; and four sisters, Wilma, Vivian, Dorothy and Lillian.
The family will observe a private service at a later date. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Viola King.
