HOWARD — Donna L. Chapman,
67, of Howard, gone to meet the Lord on Monday morning, Oct. 11, 2010, at Riverside
Methodist Hospital in Columbus following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 9, 1943, in Point Pleasant, W.Va., daughter of the late Clarence
and Margaret (Cunningham) Greenlee. Donna was a member of the Lakeholm Church
of the Nazarene in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking care
of her granddaughters. Donna was a devoted wife and caring mother and grandmother.
She was always the first to volunteer when someone was in need.
Donna is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul E. Chapman; daughter, Paula
Wilson of Westerville; son, Charles (Veronica) Chapman of Mount Vernon; granddaughters,
Amanda Wilson, Kristin Chapman Woods, and Victoria, Stephanie and Zoe Chapman;
a great-granddaughter on the way, Lillie; a brother, Butch Greenlee of Point
Pleasant, W.Va.; and sisters, Dorothy Fultz of Columbus and Dee Ann Stephens
of Bidwell.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder
Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, where funeral services will be Thursday,
Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Larry Hall officiating. Burial will follow
in the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
