MANSFIELD — Marcene G. Huggins,
95, of Mansfield, formerly of Evergreen Apartments in Mount Vernon, died Oct.
11, 2010, at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield.
She was born Aug. 2, 1915, in Martinsburg to the late Clyde E. and Blanche B.
(Dodd) Burger.
Marcene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Judi Huggins of
Struthers; her daughter, Barbara Jean Hipp of Mansfield; her six grandchildren;
13 great-grandchildren; and several extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph K. Huggins, in 1988; son, Clyde
Huggins; sister, Alice Severns; and a brother, Leroy Burger.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home,
212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon, with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Friends
may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow in
Martinsburg Cemetery.
