BOSQUE FARMS, N.M. — After a long and fruitful life, our loving mother, Frances J. Dial, 85, of Bosque Farms, N.M., went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010.

She was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Ohio where she lived for over 83 years before moving to New Mexico to be with her daughter.

Frances’ memory is kept alive by her son, John (Ann) Dial of Sparta; her daughter, Phyllis (Michael) Gamboa of Bosque Farms, N.M; two grandchildren, Stephen Dial of Columbus and Stacey (Scott) Mather of Chesterville; and three great-grandchildren, Brendon, Natalie and Annie Sue Mather. The family would like to express their gratitude to her wonderful caregiver, Sharon Freeman.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin D. Dial; and her baby boy, Donald Dial.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery, Gambier, with Pastor Larry Karns officiating. There will be a time of food and fellowship following the service at Sparta United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Dial family.
