MOUNT VERNON — Norma McLarnan, 85, of Mount Vernon, passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 17, 2010, at Country Court Nursing Center.
She was born June 27, 1925, in Knox County and was the daughter of the late Carey and Millie (Fowls) Mills. Norma was a longtime member of the Grove Church of Christ, Glenwood Chapter Order of the Eastern Star for over 60 years, Farm Bureau and a past member of the former Butler Grange.
She is survived by her two sons, David (Roxanna) McLarnan of Howard and Daniel (Carin) McLarnan of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Earl McLarnan, and two brothers, Paul and Don Mills, preceded her in death.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. in Bladensburg Cemetery with Pastor Victor Slutz officiating. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral services for the McLarnan family.
