WELCOME, Md. — Lois Jean Arck, 80, of Welcome, Md., died Sept. 13, 2010, at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, Md.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane B. Arck; her parents, John G. and Agnes E. (Parker) McNamara, formerly of Gambier, Ohio; and an infant sister, Muriel M. McNamara.
She is survived by her son, Ronald G. Arck of Welcome, Md.; a grandson, Joseph W. Arck; a sister, Kathleen J. Kempton of Annapolis, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Sept. 18 at Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, Md., with the Rev. Tim Bean officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Gambier, Ohio, at a later date.
