MOUNT VERNON — Helen M. Sisk, 83, of Mount Vernon passed away Oct. 28, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born April 5, 1927, in Jewel Bridge, Va., to the late George and Virginia (White) Osborne.

Helen is survived by her two daughters, Katherine (Greg) Richards of Howard and Kay (Larry) Vilfer of Mount Vernon; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sisk; a son, Kenneth Sisk; twin daughters, Janet and Jeannett Sisk; three sisters, Nell, Charlotte and Norma; and a brother, Roy Osborne.

Friends may call Monday, Nov. 1, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home, 212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon. Graveside funeral service in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens will follow the calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s name to Hospice of Knox County, 17700 Coshocton Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
