SUNBURY — Donald L. “Don” Perfect, 82, of Sunbury died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 30, 2010, at St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville.

He was born on May 31, 1928, in Delaware County to the late Loy and Mary (Conway) Perfect. He was a 1946 graduate of Sunbury High School and a member of the Condit Presbyterian Church. He was a retired Soil Conservationist for Morrow County with 30 years of service and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. For many years Don arranged for the ushers (Red Coats) at the events for The Ohio State University. Likewise he was in charge of the ushers for the Ohio State Fair Grandstands.

He was preceded in death by brother, Neil; and sister, Betty Vaughn.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. John Zuercher officiating. Interment with military graveside services will follow in the Trenton Cemetery.
