HOWARD — Judith A. Shoemaker, 70, of Daffodil Drive, Howard, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at the Country Club Retirement Campus.

She was born March 10, 1940, in Mount Vernon to the late John and Nora (Ripley) Stanley. Judith was employed as a sewing specialist for Edmont-Wilson Glove Co. in Mount Vernon and most recently as a dispatcher for the Mid-Ohio Transit Authority (MOTA) in Mount Vernon. Judith enjoyed crafts and sewing as her hobbies.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Shoemaker; her daughter, Lisa Parrish of Brinkhaven; her son, John Shoemaker of Danville; and two grandchildren, John Shoemaker Jr. and Dayna Phillips.

Friends may call Thursday, Nov. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens beginning at 11 a.m.
